Happy Hump Day! It’s gray and rainy out today, which is awesome! Since CA has been in a draught I’ve been feeling awful guilty about over watering my flower garden and being too excessive with our precious h2O. Thankfully I love the rain, and I really love how it does all the watering for me. I also try to collect rain water, so once it warms back up I can use that instead of the hose water. Yay for trying to being green, and yay for providing my neighborhood with flowers. Not only do I love the beauty that our flowers bring, but I love being able to pick flowers at my own discretion. Fresh cut flowers bring beauty to every room, they make great gifts, and it’s a truly rewarding hobby. We had a few flowers yesterday that were beginning to wilt, and with the rain that came (overnight), I decided to pick a few and make a little something to display my love for flowers.
The top image is just a Floral Scrap Heart. I made this on the concrete right outside of my place in between rain drops yesterday. It’s not perfect, but what is? Anyway, when I left my house this morning I saw what had happened to my little floral scrap heart after the wind and rain that came last night and it made me giggle. I just wanted to share that.
